Come on, isn’t that how the CW shows are treated? Perpetually overlooked by the Emmys and the Globes? While those of us who are fans of Arrow and TVD know that there are some majorly award-worthy performances going on every week.

But the CW is going to make us wait almost as long as NBC. Arrow and TVD return to their usual nights on the 9th and 10th of October, respectively. New show Reign will air after TVD, and I’m looking forward to that. I’m also looking forward to TVD spin-off The Originals, which premieres Tuesday October 15.

As for the long-anticipated male and female cycle of ANTM, well, it’s going to be on opposite Grimm, which will also be opposite Hawaii 5-0 (not that the evil stepmother of the CW, CBS, has officially announced its fall line-up yet). And as bad as the last cycle was, I may just tune out this time. I have more time for stupid shows during the summer.
