So, Oliver trained himself on that island? That’s really testing my WSOD. I mean, really testing it. But I guess we’ll learn more each flashback.
I’m glad Tommy and Laurel are getting closer. I like them better than Ollie and Laurel. I also like the idea of Carly and Diggle getting together, even if the guy who planted the seed turned out to be a baddie. And I think Ollie’s keeping Diggle around for comic relief, not his optimism.
As soon as I saw Thea in her car (guess she did get one), I said, “Oh, this isn’t going to end well.” Didn’t see her arrest coming, though.
Nice to know Walter is alive. I’m not sure I believe Moira wasn’t having an affair, though. Maybe not with Barromerlyn, but still. She just seems that type. And aren’t she and Walter supposed to have gotten together fairly quickly after The Queen’s Gambit was declared lost at sea?
Wait, what? Mysterious Chinese guy is one of the baddies again now? I think I’d like a full episode of flashbacks soon.
Is it my imagination, or is the drug they’re going after next week this “Vertigo”?

I want Oliver to hook up with the nerdy (yet beautiful) techie chick at his company. She can join them in the Arrow Lair. I read somewhere online that in the comics Tommy turns otu to be Oliver’s nemesis. That would be too bad. Also a bit stereotypical for these comic book heroes. I wish it hadn’t been so very obviosu that John Crichton was a baddie. He might as well have worn a neon shirt with “BAD GUY” emblazoned on it. And I really really really want to slap Thea. She is one of the most annoying characters on TV today and that is saying a lot.
Ooh, yes, thank you for reminding me! I want him to hook up with her, too. I almost called this entry “But why is the wine gone?”.
I think since Tommy’s father is currently the nemesis, and Tommy is on the outs with Malcolm, that’s the twist the writers chose. As for John Crichton, I think that’s what my friend calls “guilty by stunt casting”. She recognized him right away.
Yeah, Thea outdoes Annie from 90210, but I think we can give her a little bit of leeway considering all she’s gone through in the past five years.
I don’t think I can. I’m going to take out a hit on Thea. 🙂 She is unbearable.
I find the mom interesting in that she has a bit of the Lana Parrilla thing (evil Queen from Once Upon a Time) going on…though not to the amazing extent Lana’s wonderful acting can pull it off. We know she has done bad things and was partly responsible for her husband’s death and she thought the death of her son. (Resonsible in that she is “in bed” with bad people and that led to what happened). Yet we kind of feel sorry for her and kind of like her. What will happen when Oliver finds out?
Shows do that all the time – cast a pretty recognizable actor who then turns out to be the bad guy/gal. It is pretty silly.
I do think that they plan ot brign Oliver and Laurel back together and I will hate htat. I hope they give up on that idea and instead explore beautiful techie girl. She’s sweet and funny and quirky. Much more fun than boring same old same old angsty ex girlfriend relationship.
